1. Regarding ink shortage or water leakage.
The marker is a double-ended marker. During storage and transport, it may have been upright for a long time. This can cause the water in the marker to rise, so it is advisable to gently shake the marker back and forth a few times with the cap on.
Alcohol is the main solvent in the marker, so put the cap on the marker when not in use to prevent ink evaporation.
2. Regarding the color difference between the cap and the ink.
The color difference between the cap and the ink arises due to different materials; the color deviation is quite normal.
The colors in the photo on the computer screen on the BOL.com product page may differ from the actual color. Due to the settings of your computer screen's brightness, contrast, and intensity, the color may not be accurately reflected. We recommend making a color chart before use and then referring to the color chart with the number on the marker cap.
The pH and water content of different types of paper are not always the same, which can cause the color of each drawing to be different.
A problem with the fine tip.
It is due to the vacuum when removing the cap that the ink does not flow properly for a moment. Gently press the marker to remedy this.
3. Regarding the smell of the marker. Alcohol is used as the main solvent for the ink in the marker;
the ink has an alcoholic taste, alcohol is volatile, and that is the smell you perceive.
